The United Methodist Men are continuing their support of the Jubilee Community Garden by investigating the possibility of building a bridge that would connect the main garden with the orchard area. Recent rains indicate the need to improve accessibility for those who visit the garden. Not only that, a bridge would serve the neighborhood by providing “a shortcut” for those walking or riding bicycles to places like the school or the pool. It will also improve safety in the community, as pedestrians currently have to walk out to Seiberling Street and then along the street until they get to a sidewalk at Depray. Watch for future developments!
